Anne Dalton is best known as the writer, director and producer of the award - winning hit show "Her Benny" which played to packed houses at The Floral Pavilion last August, and previously at the Liverpool Empire.. Apart from her writing/ producing career, Anne has, for many years, been actively involved in developing musical theatre skills, using her experience to nurture and foster talent wherever she finds it. "It's lovely to see ABD youngsters progress, whether it is to the West End, as many have, or simply to becoming confident individuals who share the enjoyment that participating in musical theatre at any level has to offer. We know, from experience, the dramatic, enriching and long lasting impact being part of a show can have on those who take part," says Anne. She is aware of the constant need to find new ways to engage young people so they feel their community is a place where positive and truly amazing things happen. Her company, ABD Productions, take a mixture of experienced and inexperienced performers and offer a "page to the stage" opportunity, the excitement of working towards a professional production, with clear goals and a structured schedule. Whether they need to boost their self-confidence or develop their existing professional performance skills, ABD Young Performers' sessions offer exciting opportunities to showcase their talent in quality, full scale, full length musical theatre productions, professionally produced, of a very high standard. "Participants will have the time of their lives , participating, enjoying the lights, the costumes, the make up, the sound, the stage, the wow factor of being a star....in their very own show!" says Anne. ABD supply everything from costumes, sound, lighting, staging and scenery to song CDs and lyric sheets for families to practise together at home.
