We are a group of readers who host monthly meetings in our own homes. We choose a title (classic or modern) to read, two months ahead of an evening when we discuss the book chosen – and also select the next one by taking suggestions and putting it to a vote.

Heswall and District Horticultural Society, has roots in Heswall back to 1892 and we still have regular meetings, on gardening topics, and usually meet on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm in Heswall Hall. We also hold social evenings, visit local gardens and go on an annual horticultural weekend away. Please contact Laura Smith on the above number.
Guests are most welcome
We are a well established group with a varied programme of walks every week throughout the year. Our walk days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in rotation and walks are mainly in Wirral, Wales and Cheshire.
We car share from our meeting point in Heswall and as we are out all day we take a drink and packed lunch.
The membership is mostly retirees but anyone free mid week is welcome.
