Fine Tawny port 50ml glass - £3.50 1985 Vintage Barros - £45.00 per bottle
MARCHES BLUE. Made by The Eyres family at their farm Abertanat Farm Dairy, 
Llanyblodwel, Oswestry. They manage a herd of 150 Holstein/Fresian cows and 
produce this semi hard blue cheese,
which was named after the Welsh Marches Region. (v) 
SOMERSET BRIE - originally made by Piers Fielden at Cricket St Thomas, South Somerset.
An inspiring story of one man starting in a Victorian malt-house 
making a Somerset version of the brie recipe. On 4 July, Prince Charles opened 
a new £6 million creamery using milk collected from 8 farms in a 12 mile radius. 
Uses traditional ripening methods to develop a consistent flavour (V)
KIDDERTON ASH GOATS - Made by Katy Hollinshead at Ravens Oak Dairy
nr Nantwich Cheshire.
A handmade goat's log, rolled in ash to mature at 5 weeks to 
bring out a delicate flavour. The milk comes from a goats herd on a farm just over
the border in Staffordshire. Katy is a young graduate of Reaseheath College. (V)
MRS KIRKHAMS SMOKED LANCASHIRE - Made by Ruth Kirkham, Beesly Farm, 
Goosnargh, Lancashire. John's herd is on the edge of the forest of Bowland. 
Ruth uses a three day curd to create the proper way to make buttery raw milk 
Lancashire. The cheese is then sent to Glasson Dock for a long smoke over oak 
chippings. (R)
